How Do I Find My Wix DNS?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 1:38 am

If you’re using Wix as your website builder, you might be wondering how to find your DNS (Domain Name System) settings. DNS is what allows people to find your website when they type in your domain name. It’s kind of like an address book for the internet. When someone types in www.example.com, DNS tells their computer to go to the server that houses your website files.

Each domain name has its own unique DNS settings. When you set up a new domain, Wix automatically generates DNS records for it. You can find your Wix DNS settings in the Domains tab of your site’s dashboard.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for your Wix DNS, be warned that this is not a simple task. Wix does not make it easy to find your DNS, and there are many steps involved in locating it. Be sure to follow all the instructions carefully, or you may not be able to find your DNS.

To view your DNS settings:

  1. Log in to your Wix account and open your site.
  2. Click the Domains tab.
  3. Click Manage next to the relevant domain.
  4. Click Name Servers & DNS.

Conclusion:
You can find your Wix DNS settings by logging into your account, opening your site, clicking on the domains tab, and then clicking “manage” next to the relevant domain. From there, click on “Name Servers & DNS.”
