If you are facing problems with your WordPress site permissions, then you should take a look at the following solutions.

1. Check the file permissions

The first thing you should do is to check the file permissions. This can be done by opening your site in a browser and clicking on the “Files” tab.

From there, you should click on the “Uploads” section and look for the file or files that are causing the problem.

If the file or files have incorrect permissions, then you can fix them by following the instructions that are provided. For example, you can change the permissions for the file or files so that they are set to 666.

PRO TIP: If you are not comfortable with making changes to your WordPress files and folders, we recommend that you seek help from a WordPress developer or support forum. Making changes to your file and folder permissions can break your WordPress site if not done correctly.

This will ensure that they are only accessible by the owner of the file or files, and no one else.

2. Reset the permissions

If the file permissions are not the problem, then it is possible that the problem is with the WordPress site’s permissions. In this case, you should reset the permissions on the site.

This can be done by following the steps that are provided in the WordPress documentation.

Once the permissions have been reset, you should test the site again to see if the problem has been resolved.

If the problem still persists, then you should take a look at the solutions that are listed above.
