How to get a refund from UpWork

If you’re unhappy with your work on UpWork, there are a few things you can do to get a refund.

PRO TIP: If you are not satisfied with the work provided by a freelancer on Upwork, you can request a refund through the Resolution Center. To do so:

1. Go to the My Jobs tab and click the More actions dropdown menu beside the job in question.

2. Select Request a refund.

3. Choose your reason for requesting a refund and click Submit.

Please note that you must submit your request within 14 days of making the payment, and that not all requests will be approved.

First, if you’ve completed your work and it’s not meeting your expectations, you can reach out to the company to let them know. They may be willing to give you a partial or full refund, depending on the situation.

You can also dispute a job if it’s not up to your standards. If you dispute the job and the company decides it won’t be completed, they may be willing to give you a refund.

If you feel like you haven’t been given the opportunity to provide a quality product, you can reach out to the company to ask for a refund. They may be willing to give you one if you can’t provide a quality product within a certain amount of time.
