AWS Access Tokens are necessary to access AWS resources. You can generate an access token by using the AWS Management Console, the AWS Command Line Interface, or the AWS SDKs.
The easiest way to generate an access token is to use the AWS Management Console. To generate an access token using the AWS Management Console, go to the AWS Management Console and open the Security Credentials page. On the Security Credentials page, under the Access Keys heading, select Generate New Access Key. In the Generate New Access Key dialog box, type your access key ID, and then select Generate.
The access key ID is a long string of letters and numbers. You will need this access key ID to generate an access token.
The next way to generate an access token is to use the AWS Command Line Interface. To generate an access token using the AWS Command Line Interface, go to the AWS Command Line Interface, and type AWS access-token-generate.
The AWS access-token-generate command generates an access token for you.
The last way to generate an access token is to use the AWS SDKs. To generate an access token using the AWS SDKs, go to the AWS SDKs, and select the Amazon Web Services Tools for Java menu item.
The Amazon Web Services Tools for Java menu item contains the AWS access-token-generate command. The AWS access-token-generate command generates an access token for you.
