There are a few ways to get rid of guides in Figma. The first way is to simply select the guide and press the delete key on your keyboard.

The second way is to go into the “View” menu and deselect the “Show Guides” option. The third way is to use the “Clear Guides” command in the “Edit” menu.

The first way to get rid of guides in Figma is the most straightforward – simply select the guide and press delete on your keyboard. This will remove the guide from your project immediately.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, Figma can leave unwanted guides on your project canvas. To remove them, select the ‘Edit’ menu and then ‘Preferences’. In the ‘General’ tab, uncheck the ‘Show Layout Grids’ and ‘Show Public Boards’ options.

The second way to get rid of guides in Figma is slightly more involved, but still relatively simple. First, go into the View menu and deselect the Show Guides option. This will hide all guides from view, but they will still be present in your project – you can toggle them back on at any time by selecting this option again.

The third way to get rid of guides in Figma is to use the Clear Guides command in the Edit menu. This will permanently remove all guides from your project, so use this command with caution!
