Guides are an important part of any design, but sometimes they can be a little bit too much. If you want to hide guides in Figma, there are a few different ways to do it.
One way to hide guides is to simply turn them off in the View menu. To do this, go to View > Guides and uncheck the box next to Show Guides. This will make all of the guides disappear from your design.
If you only want to hide certain guides, you can also use the Selection tool to select the guide(s) you want to hide. Once they’re selected, go to Edit > Hide Guides and they will be hidden from your design.
You can also use the Layers panel to manage your guides. To do this, go to the Layers panel and find the layer that has the guide(s) you want to hide.
Then, click on the eye icon next to that layer to hide it. This will make all of the guides on that layer disappear.
Finally, you can use keyboard shortcuts to quickly hide and show guides. To hide all guides, press Command + ; (semicolon) on a Mac or Control + ; (semicolon) on a PC. To show all hidden guides, press Shift + Command + ; (semicolon) on a Mac or Shift + Control + ; (semicolon) on a PC.
