If you have a Figma file (.fm) that you want to use in After Effects, you can import it into the software by following these steps:

1. Open After Effects and click on the ‘File’ menu.

2. Select ‘Import…’.

3. Locate the Figma file that you want to use and select it.

4. On the ‘Import Options’ tab, select the ‘Figma’ format.

5. Click on the ‘OK’ button to import the file.

6. Once the file has been imported, you will be able to use it in the same way as any other After Effects file.

7. If you want to make any changes to the file, you can do so by clicking on the ‘File’ menu and selecting ‘Edit’.

8. Once the file is open, you will be able to make any changes that you want.

9. Finally, you can save the file by clicking on the ‘File’ menu and selecting ‘Save’.

PRO TIP: There is no direct way to import a figma file into After Effects. However, you can export your figma project as an .ai file and then import that into After Effects.
