How Do I Import Missing Fonts Into Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 10:34 am

There are a few different ways that you can import fonts into Figma. One way is to simply drag and drop the font file into the project window. Another way is to go to the File menu and select “Add Fonts from your Computer.”

PRO TIP: If you are missing fonts in Figma, it is likely because the file was created in a different program that uses a different font. To import missing fonts into Figma, you will need to install the font on your computer first. Once the font is installed, you can restart Figma and the missing font will be imported automatically.

Once the fonts are added to your project, you can start using them right away. To style text, simply select the text element and then choose the font from the drop-down menu in the right sidebar. You can also bold, italicize, and underline text using the corresponding buttons in the same location.
