How Do I Insert a Table Into a Canva Template?

Whether you’re working on a website, presentation, or document, adding a table can help you better organize your information. Tables are easy to create and format in Canva, and they can be inserted into any design. In this article, we’ll show you how to insert a table into a Canva template.

To insert a table into your design:

    1. Open the Canva design you want to add a table to.

    2. Click the Text tool in the left-hand panel.

    3. Hover your cursor over the area of the design where you want to insert the table.

    4. Click and drag to create a text box that’s the size of the table you want to insert.

    5. Type < table > into the text box, followed by the number of rows and columns you want in your table (e.g., < table >2×2).

    6. Hit Enter/Return on your keyboard to create the table.

    7. Enter your data into the cells of the table.

    8. To format the text in your table, select the text and use the text formatting options in the top toolbar (e., font size, bold, italics, etc.).
