How do I install WordPress on GoDaddy cPanel?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 4:35 pm

When you install WordPress on your GoDaddy cPanel server, you have a few different options to choose from. You can either use the WordPress installer that GoDaddy provides, or you can use a third-party installer.

To use the GoDaddy WordPress installer, you first need to create a new account on GoDaddy. After you create your account, you can then log in to your cPanel account and click the Add a Site button.

PRO TIP: -Before you start, make sure you have a backup of your site just in case something goes wrong.
-Installing WordPress on GoDaddy cPanel is a little different than installing it on other hosting providers. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully.
-You will need to create a database for WordPress first before you can install it.

When the Site Creation Wizard appears, click the WordPress link to open the WordPress installer.

To use a third-party installer, first you need to sign up for a free account at WordPress.com. After you sign up, you can click the Install WordPress button on the WordPress.com home page.

The WordPress.com installer will appear, and you can select the installation type and location.
