WordPress is a popular content management system that can be installed on a wide variety of platforms. Google Cloud Platform is a suite of cloud services that make it easy to deploy and manage WordPress websites.

To install WordPress on Google Cloud Platform, first create a project in the GCP Console. Next, create a new WordPress site in the GCP Console and select Cloud Platform as the deployment platform.

Once your site is created, you’ll need to create a WordPress site instance. To do this, open the GCP Console and select the site you just created.

Under the Instances tab, click Create Instance.

In the Create Instance dialog box, enter the following information:

Name: Select a name for your instance.

Location: Select a region in which to deploy your instance.

Type: Select the type of instance you want to create.

Next, specify the following information in the Settings tab of the dialog box:

Instance Type: WordPress

Storage: Select a storage account to use for your site.

Data Store: Click Select Storage to choose a storage account from which to load your site’s data.

Data Store Preference: Select the preference for the site’s data. You can choose to have the site load its data from a local storage account or from a Google Cloud Storage bucket.

Click Create to create your instance.

Now, you need to set up your WordPress site.

Under the instances tab, click the instance you just created.

Under the Sites tab, click the site instance you just created. Under the Sites tab, under the site’s name, click the WordPress site.

Under the WordPress site’s name, in the Sites tab, under the site’s Properties tab, click the Servers and Tools tab.

Under the Servers and Tools tab, in the Server Settings tab, under the WordPress site’s server settings, click the Add Server button.

In the Add Server dialog box, enter the following information:

Server Name: Select the name of the WordPress site’s server.

Server Address: Enter the IP address or host name of the WordPress site’s server.

Port: Enter the port of the WordPress site’s server.

Click the Add Server button to add the server to your WordPress site.

Click the Activate Server button to activate the server.

Click the Publish Site button to publish your WordPress site.

PRO TIP: If you are not comfortable working with code or Linux, we do not recommend using Google Cloud to host WordPress. While it is possible to install WordPress on Google Cloud, the process is complex and requires a high level of technical expertise. If you are not comfortable working with code or Linux, we do not recommend using Google Cloud to host WordPress.

Click the OK button to close the Server Settings tab.

Click the Close button to close the WordPress site’s Properties tab.

Click the Close button to close the WordPress site’s dialog box.

Now, you’re ready to configure your WordPress site.

Under the sites tab, click the site instance you just created.

Under the Sites tab, under the site’s name, click the WordPress site.

Under the WordPress site’s name, in the Sites tab, under the site’s Properties tab, click the Settings tab.

Under the Settings tab, in the General tab, enter the following information:
