As a freelancer, you’re always looking for ways to get more work and build your business. But did you know that one of the best ways to do that is by leaving feedback for your clients?
When you leave feedback, not only does it show your appreciation for the work they’ve given you, but it also helps them to understand what they can do to improve their business. It also helps other freelancers who are looking for work to know what kind of clients they’re dealing with.
But how do you leave feedback on UpWork? It’s actually very simple:
1. Login to your UpWork account
The first thing you need to do is login to your UpWork account. If you don’t have one, you can create one for free.
2. Find the client’s profile
Once you’re logged in, go to the “Find Work” tab and search for the client’s name or username. When you find them, click on their name or picture to go to their profile.
3. Leave a public comment
On the client’s profile, scroll down to the “Public Comments” section and click on the “Leave Public Comment” button.
4. Write your feedback
In the box that appears, write your feedback. You can be as detailed or as brief as you like, but try to include both positive and negative feedback so that other freelancers can get a well-rounded idea of what it’s like working with this client.
5. Choose a star rating
After you’ve written your feedback, choose a star rating from 1-5 stars, with 5 stars being the best.
You can also choose to leave a private comment for the client if you want to give them some additional feedback that you don’t want others to see. When you’re finished, click “Submit Feedback” and you’re done!
Leaving feedback is a great way to show your appreciation for a client, and it also helps other freelancers who are looking for work.
