If you’re running an online store, then you’ll likely need to take payments at some point. And if you’re taking payments, then you’ll need a payment processor.

One popular option is Stripe. In this article, we’ll show you how to link your Stripe account to WooCommerce.

First, you’ll need to create a Stripe account and generate your API keys. To do this, log into your Stripe account and click on the “Developers” tab.

Then click on “API keys.” From here, you can either create a new key or view your existing keys.

Once you have your API keys, log into your WooCommerce account and go to the “WooCommerce” tab, then click on “Settings.” From here, click on the “Payments” tab and then select “Stripe” from the list of options.

PRO TIP: If you are using the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress, do not follow the instructions in this article on how to link your Stripe account. The article is outdated and the instructions no longer work. You will end up with an error message saying that the plugin cannot be found.

Enter your API keys into the appropriate fields and then click on the “Save changes” button. That’s it! You’ve now successfully linked your Stripe account to WooCommerce.

There are a few things to keep in mind when using Stripe with WooCommerce. First, Stripe only supports certain countries.

Second, you’ll need to have a SSL certificate installed on your site in order to use Stripe. Lastly, make sure that your Stripe account is in good standing in order to avoid any issues with payments going through.

Assuming everything is set up correctly, taking payments via Stripe should be relatively straightforward. When a customer goes to checkout, they’ll be prompted to enter their credit card information. Once they do so, the payment will be processed and they’ll receive an email confirmation.

Assuming everything is set up correctly, taking payments via Stripe should be relatively straightforward for both you and your customers!
