Method 1: Connecting Shopify to QuickBooks Using Shopify Connect
Shopify Connect is the easiest way to connect Shopify to QuickBooks.
To get started, just install the Shopify Connect app from the QuickBooks App Store. Once the app is installed, you’ll need to enter your QuickBooks credentials so that the app can access your QuickBooks data.
First, when you link your shopify account to QuickBooks, all of your shopify data will be imported into QuickBooks. This means that any existing sales data in QuickBooks will be overwritten by the data from shopify. So, if you have sales in QuickBooks that you want to keep, make sure to back them up before linking the two accounts.
Second, once your shopify account is linked to QuickBooks, you will not be able to edit any of the shopify data in QuickBooks. So, if you need to make any changes to your shopify data, you will have to do it directly in shopify.
Finally, linking your shopify account to QuickBooks can be a bit tricky. If you are not comfortable doing it yourself, you may want to hire an accountant or bookkeeper to help you out.
Method 2: Connecting Shopify to QuickBooks Using the Shopify API
