GIFs are a great way to add some fun and personality to your website or blog, and they’re easy to make with Figma. Here’s how:

PRO TIP: This article contains instructions on how to make a GIF in Figma Prototype. However, please be aware that GIFs may not be compatible with all devices and browsers. Additionally, creating large GIFs can result in slow load times.

1. Choose the frame you want to use for your GIF. You can use an existing image or upload a new one.

2. Add the frame to your project in Figma.

3. Select the frame and click on the “Animate” button in the top toolbar.

4. In the “Animation” panel that appears, choose the type of animation you want to create. You can make your GIF static, animated, or interactive.

5. Once you’ve selected your animation type, you can further customize it in the “Settings” tab of the “Animation” panel.

6. When you’re happy with your GIF, simply click on the “Export” button in the top toolbar and select “GIF” from the drop-down menu. Figma will then generate your GIF and allow you to download it.

That’s all there is to it! With Figma, creating GIFs is quick and easy, so have fun experimenting with different animations and settings to find the perfect one for your project.
