How Do I Make a Product Unavailable on Shopify?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 10:13 pm

Shopify is a platform for businesses of all sizes to create an online store. You can use Shopify to sell online, in-person, and through point-of-sale (POS) devices.

When you make a product unavailable on Shopify, it means that the product will no longer be visible on your online store or POS. The product will still exist in your Shopify admin, but it will not be visible to customers.

There are two ways to make a product unavailable on Shopify: through the PRODUCT page in your Shopify admin, or through the INVENTORY page.

To make a product unavailable on the PRODUCT page:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products > All products. 2. Find the product that you want to make unavailable, and then click its title.

3. In the Availability section, select Unavailable. 4. Click Save.

To make a product unavailable on the INVENTORY page:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products > Inventory.

PRO TIP: If you are considering making a product unavailable on Shopify, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, if you make a product unavailable, it will no longer be available for purchase on your shop. Additionally, any existing customers who have purchased the product will no longer be able to access it. Finally, if you make a product unavailable, you will not be able to track sales or inventory for that product.
