A repeating pattern brush is a handy way to create a consistent, tile-like image in Photoshop. You can use a repeating pattern brush to quickly fill a background with a design, or to create interesting textured effects.

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to create a repeating pattern brush and use it to style text in HTML.

To create a repeating pattern brush, open the Brushes panel (Window > Brushes) and click the Create New Brush button at the bottom of the panel. In the New Brush dialog box, choose Pattern from the Type drop-down menu and click OK.

Next, open the image or pattern that you want to use as your brush and select all of the pixels (Ctrl+A). Then, copy the selection (Ctrl+C) and return to your Photoshop document. Paste the selection into your document (Ctrl+V) and position it over the area where you want your repeating pattern to start.

PRO TIP: This tutorial covers how to create a repeating pattern brush in Photoshop. However, it is important to note that this brush can only be used in Photoshop CS6 or earlier. If you are using a newer version of Photoshop, the repeating pattern brush will not work.

Now, go back to the Brushes panel and click on the new brush that you created. In the Brush Settings dialog box, set the spacing to 100% and check the box next to Shape Dynamics. Set the Size Jitter to 100% and set both Angle Jitter and Roundness Jitter to 0%.

Now that your brush is set up, you can use it to style text in HTML. To do this, simply create a new text layer and type out some text.

Then, select your brush from the Brushes panel and click on the canvas to paint over your text. The repeating pattern will automatically be applied to your text.

Conclusion: You can use a repeating pattern brush in Photoshop to quickly fill a background with a design or create interesting textured effects. To style text in HTML using a repeating pattern brush, simply create a new text layer and type out some text. Then, select your brush from the Brushes panel and click on the canvas to paint over your text.
