There are a few different ways that you can make a transparent image in Photoshop. One way is to use the “Eraser” tool.

Another way to make a transparent image is to use the “Alpha Channel” option. To do this, first open the “Channels” palette. Next, click on the “Create new channel” button at the bottom of the palette. A new channel will appear in the palette called “Alpha 1”.
With this new channel selected, use either the Eraser tool or the Brush tool to paint over the areas of the image that you want to be transparent. The darker you paint,the more opaque the image will be. When you’re finished, click on the “Load channel as selection” button at
the bottom of the palette and then click on the “Delete” button to delete the selected area.
You can also create a transparency mask using levels or curves. To do this, first duplicate your background layer by going to Layer>Duplicate Layer. Next, go to Image>Adjustments>Levels or Image>Adjustments>Curves and adjust the levels or curves until you have a good contrast between the foreground and background.
Once you have a good contrast, go back to your layers palette and click on your background copy layer to make it active. Then click on
the “Add layer mask” button at the bottom of the palette. Finally, use a black or white brush to paint over areas of your image that you want to be transparent or opaque respectively.
