Clouds can be one of the most difficult things to render convincingly in Photoshop. There are a few things you can do to make them look better.

One way to make clouds look better is to use a texture. You can find many cloud textures online, or you can create your own by photographing clouds.

To use a texture, simply create a new layer and place the texture over the top of the clouds. Then, set the layer blending mode to “Screen” or “Soft Light”.

Another way to improve the look of clouds is to use a gradient map. To do this, first create a new layer and fill it with a gradient (you can use any colors you like). Then, set the layer blending mode to “Color” or “Luminosity”.

Finally, you can try using some adjustment layers to improve the contrast and color of your clouds. Try using a levels or curves adjustment layer, or even playing with the hue/saturation settings. By experiment with different settings, you should be able to find something that looks good.

By following these tips, you should be able to get much better results when rendering clouds in Photoshop.
