How Do I Make My Canva Presentation Interactive?

Last updated on February 28, 2023 @ 9:58 am

Interactive presentations are all the rage these days. But what exactly is an interactive presentation, and how do you create one using Canva?

An interactive presentation is a presentation that engages the audience and encourages them to participate in the presentation. This can be done in a number of ways, such as asking questions, polling the audience, or providing opportunities for the audience to ask questions.

Creating an interactive presentation using Canva is easy! Simply create your slides as usual, then click on the element where you want to add some interaction. This can be a button or a poll that you added to your presentation.

Once you’ve selected the element, go to the top menu bar and click on the three dots icon to open up more options.

In the new menu that will appear, select the link icon then add the URL of the page that you want to show up once the audience interacts with the element you selected in the presentation.

Once done adding links to make your presentation interactive, you can now share your presentation by clicking on the “Share” button in the top menu and selecting your preferred file type.

PRO TIP: When creating a Canva presentation, be aware that there is a potential to make the presentation interactive. This could result in the presenter losing control of the presentation, and the audience being able to influence the content. If you do not want this to happen, make sure to set the presentation to “Can view” only before sharing it.

So why create an interactive presentation? Interactive presentations are more engaging for the audience, and they can help you get more out of your presentation.

By encouraging audience participation, you’re more likely to keep everyone’s attention throughout the entire presentation. And, of course, if you have any questions for your audience, an interactive presentation is the perfect way to get them answered!
