Text is a vital part of any web page, and Figma makes it easy to add and style text. There are two ways to add text in Figma: using the Text tool, or converting an existing object to text.
To add text using the Text tool, simply click and drag your cursor to create a text box. Then, type your text into the box. You can change the font, color, and size of your text using the formatting options in the right sidebar.
To convert an existing object to text, select the object, then click the “Convert to Text” button in the right sidebar. This will allow you to edit the text within the object, as well as apply formatting options.
Once you have your text added and formatted, you can use HTML tags to style it further. To do this, select the text you want to style and click the “Edit as HTML” button in the right sidebar. This will open a code editor where you can add HTML tags around your text to apply styles.
Some common HTML tags that can be used for styling text are < p >, < b >, and < u >. The < p > tag will create a new paragraph, while < b > will bold your text and < u > will underline it.
So how do you make text appear in Figma? By using the Text tool or converting an existing object to text, then formatting and styling it using HTML tags.
