Designing a professional looking graphic can be easily done using the online design platform, Canva. One of the most important design elements in any graphic is the background.

The background can either make or break the look of your graphic. In Canva, there are a few ways to make the background of your graphic more transparent.

To start, open your design in Canva and select the “Background” tab from the left-hand menu. From here, you can either upload your own image or choose one from Canva’s library of over 1 million stock images, illustrations, and graphics. Once you’ve selected your image, simply click on the “Adjust” tab and drag the transparency slider to the left to make your background more transparent.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you can easily make the background of your Canva image transparent. This may not be what you intended, and could result in your image looking strange. To avoid this, be sure to only select the background area that you want to be transparent.

You can also make the background of your graphic more transparent by using the “Erase” tool. To do this, simply select the “Erase” tool from the “Background” tab and then brush over the areas of your image that you want to be more transparent.

Both of these methods are quick and easy ways to make your background more transparent in Canva so that your text and other elements can really stand out. Experiment with different degrees of transparency to find what looks best for your particular design.
