How Do I Manually Remove a Background in Canva?

There are a few different ways that you can go about removing the background from an image in Canva. One way is to use the built-in background remover tool. Another way is to manually remove the background using the eraser tool.

If you want to use the built-in background remover tool, simply select the image that you want to edit and then click on the “Background” tab. From there, you can click on the “Remove Background” button and Canva will automatically try to remove the background from your image. If it doesn’t do a perfect job, you can always use the eraser tool to clean up any remaining areas.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, manually removing a background in Canva can result in losing important parts of your image. Make sure to zoom in and take your time when erasing the background to avoid accidentally deleting any important details.

To manually remove the background from an image, you’ll need to use the eraser tool. First, select the image that you want to edit.

Then, click on the “Edit” tab and select the “Eraser” tool. You can then start erasing away the background from your image. When you’re finished, simply click on the “Done” button and your image will be saved without a background.
