How Do I Mark an Order as Fulfilled in Shopify?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 12:42 am

Assuming you have a Shopify account and are logged in, follow these steps to mark an order as fulfilled:

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when marking an order as fulfilled in Shopify, you may accidentally mark the wrong order as fulfilled. This could cause confusion and delays in fulfilling subsequent orders.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Orders. 2. Click the order number of the order that you want to fulfill. 3. In the Order details page, click Fulfill items. 4. In the Fulfillment page, do the following:
a. To fulfill all items in the order, select Fulfill all items. Otherwise, select the checkbox next to each item that you want to fulfill.

b. If you’re using Shopify Shipping, then select a shipping service from the Shipping Method drop-down menu. Otherwise, leave this section blank. 5. When you’re done, click Save and continue. 6. In the Order details page, click Mark as fulfilled. 7. In the Confirm fulfillment popup, click Yes, I’m sure to confirm. After you’ve marked an order as fulfilled, you can’t make any changes to that order in Shopify. If you need to make changes, then you can create a new draft order for that customer with the updated information.
