If you’re a designer, you’re probably familiar with Adobe Photoshop. It’s a program that allows you to create and edit images, as well as create designs for websites, logos, and more. But what if you want to use those designs in a different program?

That’s where Figma comes in. Figma is a design tool that allows you to work with vector graphics, and it has a Photoshop plugin that allows you to import .psd files.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, we do not recommend opening .psd files in the program. This could lead to data loss or file corruption.

So how do you open a .psd file in Figma? First, make sure that you have the latest version of the Photoshop plugin installed. Then, open the .psd file in Photoshop and go to File > Export > Quick Export as .png.

This will export the file as a .png image, which can be imported into Figma. To do this, open Figma and go to File > Import.. and select the .png file that you exported from Photoshop. Once the file is imported, you’ll be able to edit it just like any other vector graphic in Figma.

So there you have it! Now you know how to open a .psd file in Figma.
