There are many ways to add video to your Canva design. You can start with a template that has a video placeholder, or you can add a video element to an existing design. You can also upload your own video footage and use it in your design.

To add a video element to your design:

1. Click the Elements tab in the left sidebar. 2. Drag and drop the Video element into your design. 3. In the Video Settings popup, select the video you want to add from the Source dropdown menu.

4. Click Apply to close the popup. 5. The video will appear in your design. You can move and resize it like any other element.

To add your own video footage:

1. Click the Uploads tab in the left sidebar. Drag and drop your video file into the Upload area, or click the area to select a file from your computer.

3. The video will appear in the Uploads section of the left sidebar. You can drag and drop it into your design, or double-click it to add it to your design automatically. 4. Once the video is in your design, you can move and resize it like any other element.

Adding video to your Canva design is a great way to make your project more dynamic and engaging. With just a few clicks, you can add videos from various sources or upload your own footage to use in your design. Whether you’re using a template with a video placeholder or adding a video element to an existing design, Canva makes it easy to incorporate videos into your projects!

PRO TIP: Canva is a great tool for creating simple designs, but it is not intended for video editing. If you try to overlay video in Canva, you may experience issues with the quality of your video and the overall design of your project.
