Deleting your Weebly account is a permanent action. However, there are certain steps you can take to minimize the impact of account deletion on your content and data.
First, back up your content and data. This includes both your Weebly site and any customizations you’ve made to it.
If you use a hosted platform, such as Weebly SiteBuilder, Weebly has a data backup feature that can help you save your site’s content and data.
If you use Weebly SiteBuilder, you can also export your site’s content and data as a .zip file.
You can then import the file into a new Weebly account or another platform.
If you don’t have a backup, you can use Weebly’s data export feature to export your site’s content and data as a .csv file.
You can then use a third-party tool, such as Microsoft Excel, to import the file into a new Weebly account or another platform.
Next, delete your Weebly account. To do this, go to your account settings and click the “delete account” button.
You’ll be asked to confirm the deletion. After you delete your account, Weebly will permanently disable your account and all of your content and data.
Finally, make sure you delete any links to your old Weebly site. You can do this by going to your account settings and clicking the “manage links” button.
On the “Links” page, click the “edit” link next to the link to your old site. On the “Edit Link” page, click the “delete” button.
