DNS is a system that helps computers find their way to websites. When you type in a website address, your computer looks up the address in a DNS server, which is a list of IP addresses that are automatically assigned to domains like Google.

com. .

To set up your DNS on your computer, open the Control Panel and look for the Network and Internet connection. Right-click the connection and select Properties. On the General tab, select the Advanced button and then select the DNS tab. In the DNS Server field, type the IP address of the GoDaddy DNS server.

PRO TIP: If you are changing the DNS for a domain that is currently registered with GoDaddy, you will need to update the nameservers at your registrar. After you update your DNS settings at your registrar, it may take up to 48 hours for the changes to propagate.

In the Preferred DNS Server field, type the IP address of the Google DNS server. Click OK.
