To point your domain to Tumblr Namecheap, you will need to first add Tumblr’s domain to your account. Once you have added the domain, you can point it to Namecheap by following these steps:

Log into your Namecheap account Select Domains in the top left corner Click on the domain you would like to point to ( in this example, we will be pointing to tumblr.com ) Underneath “Domains,” click on the “Add domain” button (or use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + A) Type in tumblr.com and click on the “Add” button.

Now that we have added the domain, we can point it to Namecheap. To do this, we will need to go to Namecheap’s “Domains” page and find the domain we just added.

Underneath the domain, click on the “Settings” button.

On the “Settings” page, we will need to find the “Add an IP Address” section. In this section, we will need to enter the IP address of our Tumblr account.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, pointing your domain to Tumblr can result in losing control of your domain name. Make sure you understand the process before proceeding.

To find the IP address, you can login to your Tumblr account and go to your “Settings” page. Underneath “General,” you will see the “IP Address” section.

Once we have entered the IP address, click on the “Update” button. Namecheap will now point the domain to Tumblr.com.

Now that we have pointed the domain to Tumblr, we can visit the blog and start posting!.
