How Do I Prepare a Photoshop File for Screen Printing?

There are a few things you need to do to get your Photoshop file ready for screen printing. First, you need to make sure that your file is in CMYK mode. You can do this by going to File > Mode > CMYK Color. Next, you need to make sure that your resolution is at least 300 dpi. You can check this by going to Image > Image Size.

If your resolution is less than 300 dpi, you will need to increase it. Finally, you need to make sure that your file is in the correct format. The most common format for screen printing is a .eps file. You can save your file as a .eps by going to File > Save As.

Once you have done all of these things, your Photoshop file should be ready for screen printing!

PRO TIP: When preparing a Photoshop file for screen printing, it is important to take into account the resolution of the image as well as the color mode. The resolution should be at least 300 dpi, and the color mode should be set to CMYK. If you are unsure about these settings, it is best to consult with a professional screen printer.
