How Do I Preview a PSD File Without Photoshop?

If you have ever wanted to preview a PSD file without having to open it in Photoshop, there is a way! You can actually preview PSD files in the File Manager and Adobe Illustrator. This will allow you to see your PSD file as well as the file’s properties, including the dimensions, resolution, color mode, and bit depth.

First, navigate to the location of the PSD file on your hard drive and click on it. You will then be able to see a preview of the image design.

 

If you want to see a larger preview of the image, simply click on the “View” tab at the top of the File Viewer window.

 

Then, select “Extra Large Icons.”

You can also use Adobe Illustrator to see a larger preview of your PSD file. Simply right-click on the PSD file and select the “Open with” option. From there, choose Adobe Illustrator.
