There are a few steps to follow so that you can print a large image on multiple pages in Photoshop.

1. Open the large image that you want to print in Photoshop.

2. Select the “Slice Tool” from the left toolbar.

NOTE: If you’re having a hard time finding the Slice Tool from the toolbar, simply use the search icon at the upper-right corner of the screen to search for it.

3. Right-click on the large image and select the “Divide Slice” option from the list.

4. Type in the number of slices you prefer for the large image to be divided into, then click on the “Ok” button.

NOTE: You can turn on the Preview option to see the slices it will make on your image.

5. Your large image should be divided into your specified number.

NOTE: In this example, we divided the large image with 3 slices horizontally and 3 slices vertically, therefore, the resulting number of images would be 9.

6. Export the large image slices. To do this, go to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy).

7. In the Save for Web window, choose your preferred file type then click on the “Save” button.

8. In the Save As window, select “Images Only” for the Format section and then “All Slices” for the Slices section.

9. The large image slices should now be available on the file location you chose.

NOTE: This is usually saved in a folder named “images” in the file location that you chose.

PRO TIP: This article provides instructions on how to print a large image on multiple pages in Photoshop. However, it is important to note that this process may result in some image quality loss.

10. Go back to Photoshop and go to File > Open.

11. In the Open window, go to the file location where you saved the large image slices. From there, select all the image files and click on the “Open” button.

12. All slices of the large image should now be imported into Photoshop in separate multiple pages.

13. Print the image files. Go to File>Print.

14. In the Photoshop Print Settings dialog box, choose your preferred settings under the Printer Setup and Color Management sections. Once done, click on the “Print” button.

NOTE: In this example, we chose the landscape orientation. This will depend on the size or aspect ratio of your image slices.
