How Do I Recover a Deleted File in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:34 pm

There are a few different ways that you can go about recovering a deleted file in Figma. The first way is to check the Figma recycle bin.

To do this, simply click on the “Recycle Bin” option in the left sidebar of your Figma workspace. This will open up a list of all of the deleted files in your account. If the file you’re looking for is in this list, simply click on the “Restore” button next to it and it will be moved back into your main workspace.

If the file you’re looking for isn’t in the Recycle Bin, then it’s possible that it’s been permanently deleted from your account. In this case, you’ll need to reach out to Figma support in order to see if they can help you recover the file.

To do this, simply click on the “Help” option in the left sidebar of your workspace and then select the “Contact Support” option. From here, you can explain what happened and see if they can help you recover your lost file.
