How Do I Refund on Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 2:49 am

If you’re not happy with your Squarespace purchase, you can request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date. Refunds are for first-time customers only, and they’re issued as store credit.

If you cancel your site after the 14-day refund period, you’ll be charged a $100 early termination fee.

Here’s how to request a refund:

PRO TIP: If you are considering refunding on Squarespace, be aware that there are a few things you need to take into account first. For example, if you have already started using Squarespace to build your website, you will not be able to refund your subscription. Additionally, if you have already paid for a year-long subscription, you will only be able to receive a prorated refund for the time remaining on your subscription.

1. Log in to your Squarespace account.
2. Click Billing & Account.
3. Under “Recent Charges,” click the transaction you want to refund.
4.

Click Request a Refund.
5. Enter your refund request and click Submit.

Squarespace will review your refund request and issue store credit if it meets our refund criteria. If your refund is approved, we’ll send you an email confirming the store credit, which you can use to make future Squarespace purchases. If your refund is denied, we’ll let you know why by email.
