Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:47 am

If you’re using Wix to create a website, you may want to remove an anchor from time to time. Here’s how to do it:

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Open the Wix Editor and select the page you want to edit. Then, click on the element that contains the anchor.

In the pop-up menu that appears, click “Remove.”

You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to remove the anchor. Click “Remove” again.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with HTML or coding, we do not recommend that you attempt to remove an anchor in Wix. Doing so could unintentionally affect other parts of your website.

And that’s it! The anchor will be removed from your page.

If you need to remove an anchor from a Wix page, follow the steps above. With just a few clicks, you’ll be able to remove anchors from your pages as needed.
