It’s no secret that one of the most important aspects of any ecommerce website is the checkout process. In order for customers to complete a purchase, they need to feel confident and comfortable with the checkout process. Unfortunately, many ecommerce platforms, including WooCommerce, can be quite confusing and intimidating for customers.

This is often due to the sheer amount of information that is required during checkout. In this article, we’ll show you how to remove extra information from WooCommerce checkout so that your customers can have a smoother and more streamlined experience.

The first thing you need to do is log into your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the WooCommerce tab in the left-hand menu.

Once you’re in the WooCommerce section, click on the Checkout tab. This will take you to the Checkout Settings page where you can manage all aspects of the checkout process.

On this page, you’ll see a number of options that you can use to customize your checkout process. For our purposes, we’re interested in the Checkout Fields section.

In this section, you can choose which fields are displayed during checkout and which are optional. By default, all fields are set to Required.
However, you can easily change this by clicking on the field and selecting either Optional or Hidden.

For example, if you want to remove the “Company” field from checkout, simply click on it and select Hidden.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products on your WordPress site, you may want to remove some of the extra information that is displayed on the checkout page. This can be done by going to the WooCommerce settings page and clicking on the “Checkout” tab. From here, you can uncheck the boxes next to the information that you do not want to display on the checkout page. Keep in mind that removing too much information may make it difficult for your customers to complete their purchase.

As you can see, it’s quite easy to remove extra information from WooCommerce checkout.

By streamlining the checkout process, you can make it simpler and more user-friendly for your customers.
