Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:37 am

If you’ve ever needed to change the order of your product variations in WooCommerce, you know it can be quite the challenge. Although WooCommerce does offer a way to reorder your product variations, it’s not very user-friendly. In this article, we’ll show you how to reorder variations in WooCommerce without having to use any plugins.

When it comes to reordering your product variations, there are two ways you can go about it. You can either use the default WordPress drag and drop method, or you can use a plugin. We’ll show you both methods so that you can choose the one that works best for you.

Method 1: Use the Default WordPress Drag and Drop Method

The first method is to use the default WordPress drag and drop method. To do this, simply go to your WooCommerce Products page and hover over the product you want to edit. When the edit button appears, click on it.

On the Edit Product page, scroll down to the Product Data section and click on the Variations tab. From here, you’ll see all of your product variations listed. To reorder them, simply click on the variation you want to move and drag it into place.

Method 2: Use a Plugin

If you don’t want to use the default WordPress drag and drop method, or if it’s not working for you, then you can always use a plugin. There are quite a few plugins that allow you to reorder your product variations, but we recommend using the WooCommerce Product Variation Sort plugin.

Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, go to your WooCommerce Products page and hover over the product you want to edit. From here, you’ll see all of your product variations listed in alphabetical order.

Conclusion

As you can see, there are two ways that you can reorder variations in WooCommerce. You can either use the default WordPress drag and drop method or you can use a plugin. We recommend using a plugin if you’re not comfortable with using the default WordPress method or if it’s not working for you.
