If you’re working in Figma and find yourself making a lot of changes to your components, you may be wondering how to reset them. There are a few different ways to do this, and the method you choose will depend on what exactly you want to reset.

If you want to reset all of the properties of a component, including things like position, size, and rotation, you can use the Reset button in the top-right corner of the Properties panel. This will reset the selected component to its original state.

If you want to reset just the text properties of a component (font family, size, color, etc. ), you can use the Text tool.

Select the component with the Text tool, then click the reset button in the top-left corner of the Text panel. This will reset all of the text properties for that component.

Finally, if you want to reset just the fill color of a component, you can use the Fill tool. Select the component with the Fill tool, then click the reset button in the top-left corner of the Fill panel. This will reset just the fill color for that component.

Conclusion:

PRO TIP: If you are resetting your Figma components, be aware that this will reset all of your changes and you will need to start from scratch.
