Running Joomla on Xampp is a straightforward process. First, install the Xampp software. This can be done by visiting the Xampp website and downloading the installer for your operating system. Once Xampp is installed, open it and click on the icon that looks like a computer. On the main screen, click on the icon that looks like a white book. This will open the Install Joomla! panel. Click on the link that says “Install Joomla!” and then follow the instructions on the screen. When the installation is complete, click on the “Joomla!” icon on the main screen and then click on the “Install” button. After the installation is complete, click on the “Joomla!” icon on the main screen and then click on the “Start” button. When Joomla is started, a window will open that says “Joomla! is Ready!” Click on the “Log In” button and then enter your user name and password. After you have logged in, you will see the main screen. On the main screen, click on the “Joomla! Admin” icon and then click on the “Configure” button. On the “Configure” screen, click on the “Front-End” tab and then click on the “Install” button. This will open the “Install Joomla!” panel. Click on the “Add Site” button and then enter the name of your site. After you have entered the name of your site, click on the “OK” button. This will close the “Install Joomla!” panel. Click on the “Configure” button and then click on the “Back-End” tab. On the “Back-End” tab, click on the “Install” button.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to install Joomla on a local server using Xampp, you may encounter some errors. Xampp is not designed to run Joomla, and there are no guarantees that it will work correctly. Before proceeding, please backup your site and database.
