How Do I Run Multiple Stores in WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 12:02 am

There are a few different ways that you can run multiple stores in WooCommerce. You can either use the same installation of WooCommerce and create multiple stores, or you can use multiple installations of WooCommerce.

If you want to use the same installation of WooCommerce, then you will need to create a WordPress multisite network. This will allow you to create multiple WordPress sites, which you can then use for each store. You will need to install the WooCommerce plugin on each site, and then configure each store separately.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about running multiple stores in WooCommerce, there are a few things you should know. First, each store will need its own domain name. You can not use a subdomain or folder for each store. Second, each store will need its own hosting account. You can not host multiple stores on the same hosting account. Third, each store will need its own SSL certificate. Fourth, you will need to set up redirects from your old domain names to your new domain names. Fifth, you will need to set up DNS records for each store. And finally, you will need to configure WooCommerce to work with multiple stores.

If you want to use multiple installations of WooCommerce, then you can install the WooCommerce Multistore plugin. This will allow you to manage multiple stores from a single admin panel. You can still keep your stores separate if you want, or you can link them together so that customers can purchase products from any of your stores.

Both of these methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, so it’s really up to you which one you want to use. If you’re not sure, then it might be worth trying out both methods to see which one works best for you.
