How Do I Save a SVG File in Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 10:57 pm

There are many ways to save a file in Canva, but the most common and easiest way is to simply click on the File menu and then click Save As. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S (Windows) or Cmd+S (macOS).

When you click Save As, a new window will open up. Here, you can choose where you want to save your file, and what format you want to save it in. For most purposes, the default PNG format will suffice.

PRO TIP: If you are using Canva to create a SVG file, make sure to save it as a PDF before exporting it as a SVG. Otherwise, you may lose some of the quality of your design.

However, if you need to edit your image further or use it for vector-based purposes, you may want to choose the SVG format. To do so, simply select SVG from the drop-down menu next to Format.

Once you’ve done that, all you need to do is click Save and your file will be saved in the chosen format.

Saving a file in Canva is a simple process that only takes a few steps. First, click on the File menu and then click Save As. Next, select where you want to save your file and what format you want to save it in.

However, if you need to edit your image further or use it for vector-based purposes, you may want to choose the SVG format. Finally, click Save and your file will be saved in the chosen format.
