In Shopify, metafields are a way to store additional information about a product, customer, or order. They’re basically like little notes that you can attach to these objects. You can use metafields to store things like custom titles, descriptions, images, and more.

To view metafields in Shopify, go to the “Products” page in your admin panel. Then, click on the product that you want to view the metafields for.

In the “Edit product” page, scroll down to the “Metafields” section. Here, you will see all of the metafields for that product.

PRO TIP: If you are not a Shopify partner or developer, you will not be able to see metafields in your shop’s admin. Metafields are only visible to Shopify partners and developers who are logged in with their partner credentials.

You can also view metafields for customers and orders in Shopify. To do this, go to the “Customers” or “Orders” page in your admin panel.

Then, click on the customer or order that you want to view the metafields for. In the “Edit customer” or “Edit order” page, scroll down to the “Metafields” section. Here, you will see all of the metafields for that customer or order.

Metafields are a great way to store additional information about your products, customers, and orders. They’re easy to view and edit, and they can be a helpful way to keep track of important details.
