There are a few different ways that you can select part of an image in Figma. You can use the Rectangle Select tool, the Lasso tool, or the Magic Wand tool.
To use the Rectangle Select tool, click and drag your mouse over the area that you want to select. To use the Lasso tool, click and drag your mouse around the perimeter of the area that you want to select. To use the Magic Wand tool, click on the color that you want to select, and all of the pixels of that color will be selected.
Once you’ve made your selection, you can move it, resize it, or delete it. You can also add new colors to it, or change its transparency.
To move a selected area, click and drag it to its new location. To resize a selected area, click and drag one of its corners or sides. To delete a selected area, press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Adding new colors to a selected area is a great way to change its look without completely altering the image. To do this, click on the “Edit Colors” button in the toolbar, and then click on one of the colors in the image. Next, click on one of the colors in the palette at the bottom of the screen, and then click on the “Apply” button.
You can also change the transparency of a selected area. This is useful if you want to make part of an image more faint or more opaque. To do this, click on the “Edit Transparency” button in the toolbar, and then move the slider to the left or right to make the area more transparent or more opaque.
