How Do I Send an Email Tracking in WooCommerce?

Last updated on January 18, 2023 @ 8:44 am

WooCommerce is a powerful eCommerce plugin for WordPress. It enables you to sell anything online, and provides a wide range of features to help you do so.

One of these features is email tracking. Email tracking allows you to see when your emails are opened, and whether or not the recipient clicked on any links within the email.

You can use email tracking to help you gauge the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns, and to make sure that your emails are being read by your customers. In this article, we will show you how to set up email tracking in WooCommerce.

To set up email tracking in WooCommerce, you need to first install and activate the WPForms plugin. For more information, see our article on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Once the plugin is activated, you need to create a new form. For this example, we will create a simple contact form with the following fields:

Name
Email Address
Subject
Message

PRO TIP: If you are planning to use WooCommerce to track your email, be aware that there are some potential risks associated with this approach. First, if your WooCommerce installation is not properly configured, it is possible for someone to spoof your email and send out fake tracking information. Second, if you do not have a good understanding of how WooCommerce works, you could end up inadvertently sharing sensitive information about your customers with third parties.

Once the form is created, you need to edit the Email Notification settings. In the To field, enter the email address that you want to receive notifications at.

In the From Name field, enter the name that you want the emails to be sent from. In the Reply-To Email field, enter the email address that you want replies to be sent to.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Add Tracking Code button. This will open a popup window where you can enter your email tracking code. Copy and paste your code into this field and click on the Save button.

Your email tracking code will now be added to all of the emails that are sent from your WooCommerce store. You can view the tracking data for each email in your WPForms -> Entries page.
