With WooCommerce, you can set different prices for the same product depending on the customer’s location. This can be useful if you want to offer discounts to customers in certain countries or if you need to charge different prices due to different taxes or shipping costs.
To set up different prices for the same product in WooCommerce, you need to first create a global product and then create separate versions of that product for each location.
When creating your global product, you’ll need to set a regular price and then add a location-specific price for each country you want to Target. To do this, go to the “Prices” tab of your product editing screen and click on the “Add New Price” button.
In the “Country” field, start typing the name of the country you want to add a price for. A dropdown menu will appear with all matching countries.
To do this, you will need to use the “grouped product” feature in WooCommerce. This allows you to set different prices for the same product based on the quantity that is being purchased.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind when using this feature:
1. The grouped product must be set up correctly in order for the pricing to work correctly.
2. The pricing will only work correctly if the customer adds the correct number of items to their cart. For example, if you have a grouped product with a price of $8 each for 10 or more items, but the customer only adds 9 items to their cart, they will still be charged $10 each for those 9 items.
3. The pricing may not work correctly if you have other plugins or themes installed that modify the way WooCommerce works. If you are having trouble getting the pricing to work correctly,
Select the correct one and then enter the price you want to charge in that country in the “Price” field. Repeat this process for each country you want to add a price for.
Once you’ve saved your global product, you can create separate versions of it for each location. To do this, go to the “Products” page of your WooCommerce dashboard and hover over your global product. Then click on the “Duplicate” link.
This will create a new product with the same settings as your global product. From here, you can change the location-specific settings for this product, such as the price, shipping cost, and tax rate. Be sure to save your changes before moving on to duplicating your global product for another location.
You can continue duplicating and editing your products until you have a version for each location you want to sell to. Then, when customers from those locations visit your store, they’ll see the correct prices automatically applied to your products.
