There are a few different ways to set up a subscription on Squarespace, and which one you choose will depend on what exactly you’re looking to subscribe to. If you’re selling products or services through Squarespace, you can use our built-in eCommerce tools to set up subscriptions. If you’re running a blog or podcast, you can use our RSS feed to deliver new content to subscribers. And if you’re using another service that offers an RSS feed, you can use our Import Content tool to bring that content into Squarespace.

Our eCommerce tools make it easy to set up subscriptions for products and services. You can offer subscriptions for physical or digital products, and you can choose how often subscribers will be charged. To get started, open the product or service page in the Pages panel. Then, click the Subscriptions tab and select Enable Subscriptions.

If you’re running a blog or podcast, you can use our RSS feed to deliver new content to subscribers. When you enable RSS for your site, we’ll automatically generate a feed URL that visitors can use to subscribe. To offer visitors an easy way to subscribe, we recommend adding an RSS button or widget to your site.

You can also use our Import Content tool to bring content from another service into Squarespace.

This is a good option if you’re already using another service that offers an RSS feed, like Medium or SoundCloud. To get started, go to Settings > Advanced > Import/Export > External Blog. Then, enter the URL of the RSS feed you want to import.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that setting up a subscription on Squarespace can be a complex process. If you are not familiar with the platform, we recommend that you seek professional help to ensure that your subscription is set up correctly.
