PayPal is one of the most popular and trusted payment processors in the world, and adding it to your Shopify store is a breeze. In this article, we’ll show you how to set up PayPal on your Shopify store in just a few simple steps.
The first thing you’ll need to do is create a PayPal account if you don’t already have one. You can do this by going to www.PayPal.com and clicking “Sign Up” in the top-right corner of the page.
To protect yourself, be sure to only set up PayPal on Shopify accounts that you trust. Additionally, always log into your PayPal account directly (rather than clicking on a link in an email or other message), and be sure to keep your anti-virus and anti-malware software up-to-date.
Once you’ve created your account and logged in, you’ll need to obtain your API credentials from PayPal. To do this, click on the “Settings” cog in the top-right corner of your PayPal dashboard and select “API Credentials” from the drop-down menu.
