If you’re a web designer, chances are you’re familiar with the grid system. Grids are a great way to keep your design elements aligned and organized. But what if you want to show a column grid in Figma?

There are a few different ways to show a column grid in Figma. The easiest way is to use the “Layout” menu.

Under the “View” menu, select “Layout.” This will open up the Layout menu, which has a variety of options for displaying grids. Select the “Columns” option and then choose the number of columns you want to display.

Another way to show a column grid in Figma is to use the “Rulers” tool. Under the “View” menu, select “Rulers.”

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Figma and want to show a column grid, be aware that this will only work if your design is set to a specific width. Otherwise, the column grid will not appear.

This will open up the Ruler tool, which allows you to add horizontal and vertical rulers to your design. To add a column grid, click on the “Columns” option and then choose the number of columns you want to display.

You can also use the “Guides” tool to show a column grid in Figma. Under the “View” menu, select “Guides.”

This will open up the Guides tool, which allows you to add horizontal and vertical guides to your design.

No matter which method you use, showing a column grid in Figma can be a great way to keep your design elements aligned and organized.
