One thing you’ll need to do when setting up your Shopify store is to add your collections. In this article, we’ll show you how to add collections to your Shopify store.
To get started, log in to your Shopify account and go to the Collections page. On this page, you’ll see a list of all the collections in your store. To add a new collection, click on the Add collection button.
On the Add collection page, you’ll need to enter a name for your collection and select a few settings. The first setting is the Collection type.
This setting determines how products are added to the collection. There are three options:

Automatically: This option will add all products that match the criteria you specify to the collection. For example, you could create a collection of all products that are on sale.

Manually: With this option, you’ll need to manually add products to the collection.
This is useful if you want to create a curated selection of products. -
Disabled: This setting will disable the collection. Products will not be added to it automatically, and you’ll need to manually add products if you want them to appear in the collection.
After you’ve selected a Collection type, there are a few more settings you can configure. These settings include:

Image: This is the image that will be displayed on the collection page. Click on the “Choose image” button to upload an image from your computer.
Sort order: This setting determines how products are sorted on the collection page.
The options are “Best selling,” “Alphabetical,” “Price: Ascending,” and “Price: Descending.”
“Product variants”: If your products have variants (such as different sizes or colors), you can choose which variants will be displayed on the collection page.
“Tags”: You can add tags to help organize your collections.
Once you’ve configured these settings, click on the “Save collection”. Your new collection will now appear on the “Collections”.
To add products to your new collection, click on the “Add product”. button.
On the “Add product”, page select the product you want to add from the dropdown menu and then click on the “Add product”. The product will now appear in your new collection.
