Are you looking to start a Shopify store? Maybe you’ve been thinking about it for a while, but you’re not quite sure where to start. Or maybe you’ve already started, but you’re not sure how to get your store “live” and ready for customers.
Starting a Shopify store is a relatively easy process. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps you need to take to get your store up and running, including how to choose a Shopify plan, add products, set up payment methods, and more. By the end of this article, you’ll be ready to start selling on Shopify!
Shopify is a platform that allows you to create an online store. It offers users a customizable platform, an easy-to-use checkout process, and a wide range of features.
You can use Shopify to sell physical or digital products, or both. And because Shopify is hosted by Shopify, you don’t need to worry about hosting your own website or managing complex technical issues.
To get started with Shopify, first you need to sign up for an account. You can do this by going to Shopify.com and clicking on the “Start free trial” button. Once you’ve completed the sign-up process, you’ll be taken to your Shopify admin, which is where you’ll manage your store.
The first thing you need to do in your Shopify admin is choose your plan. Shopify offers three different plans: Basic Shopify, Shopify, and Advanced Shopify.
The plan you choose will determine the features and functionality you have access to in your store. For most new stores, we recommend starting with the Basic Shopify plan.
Once you’ve chosen your plan and entered your billing information, it’s time to start adding products to your store! To do this, go to the “Products” tab in your Shopify admin and click on “Add product.”
From there, you can enter the name of your product, a description, pricing information, and more. You can also upload images of your product and add variants (like different sizes or colors).
After you’ve added all of your products, it’s time to set up payment methods so that people can actually buy them! To do this, go to the “Payments” tab in your Shopify admin and choose which payment methods you want to offer in your store. You can accept credit cards directly through Shopify Payments (which is available in certain countries), or use a third-party payment gateway like PayPal or Stripe.
Finally, once you’ve added products and set up payments, it’s time to launch your store! To do this, go to the “Settings” tab in your Shopify admin and click on “General.”
From there, scroll down to the “Store status” section and click on “Launch storefront.” Once you’ve done that, your store will be live and ready for customers!
Starting a Shopify store is easy – all you need is a domain name (which you can buy through Shopify) and a credit card. Once you’ve signed up for an account and chosen your plan, add some products and set up payments so people can buy them! Then launch your storefront and start selling!
